Arbitration
What is Arbitration
Arbitration is the process where you decide to have someone else decide your matter other than a judge. Arbitration usually occurs in cases involving financial issues like a dispute with your health insurance provider. Arbitration can involve one decision maker or a panel of three or five. Currently Arbitration is allowed in family law cases, but the matter is currently under review for further clarification in front of the Supreme Court. Arbitration makes sense if you want a more expeditious decision and less formal. You or your attorney will still present evidence and give testimony, but many of the procedural restraints can be lifted. Please contact our office if you would like more information or to schedule a time.
